Congratulations to Anne Therese Frederiksen, who was awarded a Friends of the International Center fellowship. The fellowship will help support her travel to Amsterdam in July to present her research at the International Conference on Sign Language Acquisition.

Chris Barkley defends dissertation
Congratulations to Chris Barkley, who successfully defended his dissertation “Event-related brain potential (ERP) studies of the role of working memory and attention in language acquisition and comprehension“. Chris is now a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy where he is working with Prof. Susan Marino on a project investigating the effects of epilepsy medication on working memory, atypical brain responses and language behavior.
