Join the Lab!

Our undergraduate research assistants come from various majors (Cognitive Science, Linguistics, Data Science, Computer Science, etc.) and all share the same interest in language and cognitive development.

Lab responsibilities include collecting data using computers and eye trackers, working with child and adult participants, coding sound files, and participant recruitment. Research assistants typically spend 10-12 hours per week conducting lab work and commit to the lab for a minimum of three quarters.

If you’re interested in working with the LASR Lab, send an email to screel@ucsd.edu with your CV, transcript, and statement of interest.
