Teaching

At the undergraduate level, I enjoy teaching introductory classes because they offer a chance to try to get students interested in and excited about a topic. I have taught Introduction to Law and Society for several years, and more recently began teaching Introduction to Sociology. In the past, I’ve also taught in the International Studies program, the Dimensions of Culture program, and the Honors Thesis Seminar.

At the graduate level, I have taught seminars on topics such as political sociology, globalization, and immigration, among others, as well as the advanced research practicum.
