SSN

I am co-director, along with Brian Adams of San Diego State University, of the San Diego node of the Scholars Strategy Network (SSN).

SSN was started by Theda Skocpol a few years ago to coordinate and leverage the expertise of academics to improve policy and governance in the U.S. and abroad. SSN has a federated structure, with a national organization based in Cambridge, MA and various regional nodes.

The regional nodes strive to have activities and engagement in their local communities. Our SSN San Diego events have focused on areas where our scholars have expertise and are of considerable interest and concern to the San Diego community.   For more on SSN, click here.
