Formal Play: the second CoLED workshop

by chartblay | Dec 10, 2015 | Ethnocharettes, News, The CoLED Perspective, Workshops |

CoLED hosted its second workshop for our network of ethnographers and innovators in the UC system at UC Irvine in October.

Collaboration, discussion, disagreement and challenges, shenaningans, and at least one leopard-person-in-a-tree spotting ensued…

View the narrative slideshow about the Formal Play workshop here.

An action-packed frame shows three bodies at different planes. In the right foreground a young man's head and shoulders are seen, wearing a sugical mask, eye glasses, a stethnoscope and a plaid shirt; in the middle ground a seated torso wearing a tshirt and an orange kerchief and clutching hands to face is cut off from head and feet by the framing of the photo; in the background, a third man croutches, peaking through a small space, wearing a stuffed animal leopard hat. The third person is the only one looking at the camera.
